Massage
Massage has been a recognised therapy for over 5000 years and used by ancient civilisations such as the Chinese, Egyptian and Hindu. Massage has a positive effect to the whole body.
It increases blood flow feeding muscles with oxygen and essential nutrients whilst relaxing tense and sore muscles, encouraging the blood flow to carry away waste produces. Sensory nerves can be can be soothed or stimulated, relieving pain and bring relaxation to the whole body.
Having undergone in-depth training for neck, back and pelvic pain. This treatment includes using specialist methods to check, softening and release tight and painful muscular problems, whilst stretching and returning tight and short muscles to there original length where muscle memory can be lost due to accidents and trauma, relieving pain whilst helping the body to return to its natural posture and mobility.
I do work in conjunction with GP’s Chiropractors and Physiotherapists.
My experience has lead me to run advanced massage skills training workshops as well as On site acupressure massage training courses..
